Jerry Terminiello has over 17 years of professional experience in the Information Technology sector. Jerry began his IT career at Fidelity Investments as a Network Operations Support Manager and System Support Engineer. After leaving Fidelity, he became Design Systems Engineer for the US Navy Base Level Infrastructure Integration Network Management Platform. However, finding that his skills and knowledge could be better applied with his own company, Jerry founded DIS in 2008. As Managing Director, he has been able to expand DIS’s client base to US Naval bases in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is designated as Network Design Engineer for the Navy’s wireless piers program (WPCS). He has guided the system through rigorous levels of testing including Joint Forces, Defense Information Systems Agency, Naval NETWARCOM, and NSA Security Testing.
Jerry's success in planning, integrating, managing, and controlling diverse technical efforts, while optimizing team performance, is substantiated by an exceptional record of continuous improvement on multiple DIS client projects. His responsilbities bridge both engineering and project management practice areas, assisting clients in implementing new technology for which no previous process existed. Jerry especially understands the needs of troops abroad, since he is a veteran of the US Navy, serving as Petty Officer Third Class for three years.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at their home in Massachusetts.
Elton Conrady has 12 years of IT/telecommunications industry experience spanning a broad range of industries and technologies, including broadband data, cellular data, and VSAT technologies. While working for MCI Worldcom, he worked on core technologies such as SONET and ATM, and spent several years in access technology development paving the way for FTTx and metropolitan Ethernet deployments. While at Alltel, Elton was Technical Product Designer working with CDMA and BREW technologies at the handset and system levels. As State Systems Architect for the Arkansas Department of Information Systems, he deployed several new services and technologies including private cellular data and VSAT networks. He also designed and built a self-contained disaster/emergency communications trailer for the state. Elton has a B.A. in physics from Hendrix College and a M.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Elton enjoys fly-fishing, camping, and hiking in the Ozarks with his wife and three sons.
Brent has over 30 years of IT/telecommunications industry experience spanning several industries, including DoD contracting (Texas Instruments and QinetiQ NA), financial services (Interfirst Service Corporation), wholesale membership stores (The Price Club), communications and networking (Netrix Corporation and Current Analysis), and WiFi service providers (LinkSpot Networks and ICOA). This has enabled Brent to be exposed to, and become proficient in, a broad range of technologies, including software development, hardware design and manufacturing, wide-area networking, broadband data, VoIP, LAN, and wireless. Brent’s experience in the communications and networking arena began with The Price Club, where he designed and deployed the company’s nationwide multi-service network. He transitioned from the user side to the vendor side of the industry, when he accepted the position of Manager of Testing at Netrix Corporation, a manufacturer of multi-service communications platforms, eventually rising to the position of Vice President of Customer Support and then Vice President of Engineering. From there, he moved to the Industry Analyst side with Current Analysis, where he managed the monitoring of and reporting on the technological developments of Carrier Infrastructure vendors. During his tenure with LinkSpot Networks and ICOA, Brent was involved in the design and deployment of WiFi Hotspots for RV parks, airports, truck stops, and educational institutions. While at QinetiQ NA, Brent was responsible for the deployment of wireless-based sensor grids into urban areas for the rapid detection and reporting of gun-shots, as well as the development, manufacturing, and deployment of a passive millimeter wave scanning solution for stand-off detection of person-borne concealed threats and contraband.
In his spare time, Brent enjoys reading, camping, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Matthew Jackson has five years of experience managing operations in a variety of industries. His experience in the financial sector, real estate, and food service, has increased his knowledge and understanding of business environments and regulations. For the past three years Matthew has managed business operations for Defense Integration Solutions. Matthew oversees Contracts, Accounting, and Human Resources. He effectively navigates in each area, ensuring that the company remains compliant with the complex regulatory environment of government contracting. His management has provided effective resource allocation, benefits administration, and budgetary guidance for Defense Integration Solutions.
Matthew and his wife Brooke are involved with non-profit organizations in their neighborhood in Ohio where they are raising their son Miles.
